Our first Christmas outside Canada as a family was, despite still being during the covid era, made much homelier but the presence of my mom and brother. Aleksander enjoyed the evening, food, celebration and gifts and we look forward to future years when he has even more idea of what’s fully going on!
Grandma spearheaded a traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner (bless her heart) and we did our best to represent all our cultures, as well as incorporating some new Italian traditions also. No one could breathe by the time the dust settled and it really shouldn’t be any other way.
